college- the frightening concept called our future

    Sunday, September 02, 2007
okay, so exams totally caught me off guard. after the holidays that the typhoons had blessed us with, exams halted my laid back demeanor. i'm just happy that it's over already cause it was so dang hard.
like what Troy Bolton said, (okay, so High School Musical is still my guilty pleasure. heck! Disney IS my guilty pleasure. sorry to those people who are TOO COOL for kiddie stuff like Disney, i'm not COOL or whatever like you people.)"I've always liked the idea of taking charge of my future, until it actually started happening." he also said that college is the frightening concept called our future. i feel the EXACT same way.
It was endoctrinated in me, eversince i was a kid, that i would be going to UP. i've always seen myself walking in UP Diliman under the shade of the trees there. i love the trees there. But now, i don't think i'll be going there beacause: a. my course isn't available there and b. i don't think i passed the UPCAT. (i don't want to say that i KNOW i didn't pass, don't want to get ahead of God) I dreamt of being a vet, and i worked my way up to being a pathologist. I dream big, and i don't think it's an advantage for me right now. DUDE, it all sums up to what Troy Bolton said!!! it's crazy, how a disney character put how i feel into words.
college scares the (insert whatever word here) out of me. i think it's because i'm to immature for it. i mean come on, i still love Disney. i am still a kid. seriously...i mean, seriously.
