The "Fierce People" Speak Filipino. haha

I am currently watching the movie "Fierce People". It stars some pretty hard core actors like Donald Sutherland and Diane Lane. And I just really like Kristen Stewart. Haha. I got a bit confused when I could understand what the Iskanani Indian's shaman was saying when Fin (the lead) was high...yeah, I think he was high. The darn shaman was speaking in Filipino...and I thought he was uttering some Southern American Language that sounded oddly similar to ours. That would be unlikely. Oh yeah, "Iskanani" directly translates to "Fierce People".

It's a great film...if you're into independent films, that is. XD
